I like teas... prefer it to coffee. I like the different flavors you can get - My favs were Creme Carmel roobois, Licorice spice, and Tropical Green tea.
Ive tried some High tea places as well. How delightful (I sound so English).
Recently went into David's with a friend..... She introduced me to Creme Brule Roobios! I bought some and have yet to try.
Interestingly enough we chatted with the lady at Davids and I found a flavor that suites me more better:

Something funky, something Deep
Started this blog after some life changes. I was excited! Now Im in a funk.
Gotta get inspired, gotta get back to me.
Mental note: Dont ever think that you can accept a situation that you know truely isnt you....even for temporary fun, or even in hopes that things will change in your favor (they wont), or in hopes to save something that once was there, or even if you believe in the good of someone who is short-changing you, cause you end up losing a part of you.
Gotta find it.
Gotta make a new Bucket list!
Not to sound too cliche, but every day is a new day!
The Alchemist - Paolo Cohelo :
"The boy didn't know what a person's "destiny" was. It's what you have always wanted to accomplish. Everyone, when they are young, knows what their destiny is. At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their destiny. (p22) - "
"I don't live in either my past or my future. I'm interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we're living now. (p88/89)"
"People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don't deserve them, or that they'll be unable to achieve them. (p136)"
"Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own."
Gotta get inspired, gotta get back to me.

Bumper Sticker
Saw this bumper sticker in a store quite a few years ago.... was soooo tempted to buy it.... but decided not to since neighbours and coworkers may feel its not appropriate, or may think differently of me:

Craaaaaazzzie lady!
Lets just say my work day seemed like it would never end! Thursdays always feel like that. I dont even think I went to the bathroom the whole day. Just stayed in my room... Oh, except to grab a pizza down the street for lunch.
I could not WAIT to get home! So I was driving late today. Picked up a few things after work to make for the road trip tomorrow.
My street is a pretty quiet street, though there are still a few cars that go by every now and then. I have to make 2 quick lefts to get on to my street.... well.... ahem .... I was a little heavy-footed and made it one whole round left. Not drastically, totally still alert and not careless. But I rounded the corners. And there were a bunch of women walking on the street (we have no sidewalks). They were actually crossing the street on a diagonal in ahead of me.
And.... (dont worry I did see them)..... one of the ladies, mouths the words WIDELY " heyy slllooooowww down", wide-eyed as she crosses the street with BIG hand motions as if she is pressing her hands on the brakes....
I slow .... of course, as I pass them .... only to stare at them... blank look.... and they stare at me .... expressions on our faces....
Well, maybe even confused expressions....
Them: with the expression wide-eyed "whoa crazy lady, sup wit choo?! ...huh .... hey wait a second....."
And Me: with the expression between saying "ok ladies dont worry I see ya, sheesh" and "ummmm, hey....hi? neighbour?...."
Yikes.
They were my neighbours from directly across the street. You know, the ones I see come out of their house and I wave and they wave and we both smile and ask how are you and all that friendly neighbourly stuff. Ive known them for years.
So I get home and hurry up and do what I need to do: Pack, make some food, put stuff away. I finally get to the bathroom, ready to take a shower and what do I see in the mirror looking back at me?
No. Not Courtney. But RACOON EYES! Or eyes that look like I have been punched a couple times!
What the??!
Then I remember, this was the first day in years that I decided to wear liquid eyeliner instead of powder eyeliner.
Great. It seems not only did I try to run over my friendly neighbours after all these years.... It seems I walked around all day seeing patients, doing grocery as if I was in some kinda brawl fight the day before and never cleaned myself up. Craazzzie!
I make awesome impressions.

my first. red velvet. yum! Apparently its either vanilla or chocolate cake w red dye. It used to come from mixing buttermilk with coca. I honestly prefer without the dye. But yum non the less! ... side note: discovered ted.com from my older bro. 1st lecture I saw asked the "why" before the "how" and before the "what". great. Now Ima sell myself!
