enlightening

When someone says great convo, rarely is it that the convo was opposite to their own values. Most likely it was a convo that reinforces what was already thought or valued. It may add to it, but never was it a convo that clashed hard. It could even be looked at as enlightening or non judgmental, but really it is judgment that was in line with how the person perceiving it has already thought.
Don't get me wrong, it is such a wonderful feeling to find others you bond with, that think like you. Thats what we seek in life. To find our people. Our niche. But what can be perceived as enlightening or non judgmental to one can be the total opposite to another, another that actually has opposite values and views...
