Rare gems

It's very rare to meet ppl in my life that I feel are beyond amazing. I mean I love my family and my friends and I'm lucky enough to find some really great ppl in my life.

But there are those that stick in your head. Those that have a profound affect on anyone that meets them. Those that you feel are so full of goodness their cup is overflowing. I actually went on a date with one guy like that - he is married now and I still can say good stuff about him.

Then there is my high school friend. Married with kids, ebbing through life and I only keep in touch maybe once a year with a voice mail or text.

I'm truely blessed by his presence.

This time he called at a very difficult time in my life. 

Everyone should be blessed to have a friend like him.
