Salmon: Part I

 (not exactly the pic of tonight's dish- too bad I didnt take an actual pic of it)

So on the topic of food....
My mom makes the best fish dishes (especially salmon) EVER!
No fancy shpansy resto can compare! (not that I ever really ate at the fanciest shpanciest - but whatever).
I always find the salmon dishes I have elsewhere quite bland and dry no matter how it is cooked or garnished.

This was tonight's dish:

  • Teryiaki sauce BBQ
  • Thinly sliced ginger
  • A dash of mayo
  • Freshly squeezed lemon
  • some soya sauce
  • (she said salt and pepper to taste)
  • Broil in oven for about 12 -15 min depending on size of salmon. No cover.
Voila!



(now mind you I must attempt this myself some day!)
