400 months

Well I guess I can understand since kids have hardly lived on this earth for that long...

I was in the elevator today and there was a little kid that kept looking at me so much so that his mom said to him "you like staring huh, don't you "

So I asked her how old he was.

"He's 21 months old"

Those answers always make me think for a second.

Ah ok almost 2 yrs old.

Gez, just say that. 

I really don't care about the months. Talk like normal people do.

I wonder if she would have thought it weird if I said : wow so young, cause I'm over 400 months old! 

Gez.

Early Easter ...

I wonder if it's ok to celebrate Easter early.... Ooop, well couldn't wait!

A patient of mine so sweetly gave this to me today. She found time for this small guesture despite the fact she has a lot going on with her. Bless her, I hope things get better and she enjoys the weekend..

Ocra! Or Okra!

Over cooked but still yum. With bagoong and salt and pepper.

.... Wasn't there a movie with a killer whale by the name of Okra??

.... Maybe I'm dreaming... But then again, as a kid, I used to call broccoli : "lion"... Still not sure why.... Maybe it sounds like the roar of a lion when you say it.

Well, when I eat Okra, I like to not think about how slimey it gets. I purposely tune it out. Apparently it's good for your skin! 

"Touch base"

....ugh. Yea I just used that term this morning, when leaving a vm to a colleague regarding a presentation I need to do.

For some reason I don't like that term, I've heard it so many times by management and in groups and with other colleagues - always gives me the feeling of an assignment I have to do before we "touch base". 

The term makes me feel like I have more work to do.

Like that feeling of the first day of school... Homework ahead.

It also reminds me of playing baseball. I hated playing baseball for gym in elementary school. Don't mind watching it, not playing it. 

Anyhow, the term just came out. My slow mind could not find any other replacement words fast enough.

Anyhow.... There has to be more to life than this!!

So tired!

I know I haven't been sleeping enough.

So much stuff with work and political advocating bleh.

But that being said I know I've also been eating so much crap!

Hiatus

It's been over a week.

Netflix diaries.....

Yea Netflix is my sad life as if late ...

I've been binging on Life on Mars.

And as it goes, I'm finding the lead character quite the handsome nice dude.

So decided to look him up: Jason O'mara.

He's married .... To an actress who is 7 yrs older than him! Wow. So I looked her up too... Paige Turco.....

Wholly crap what a good looking couple !

Geeez. I hope I look like her when I'm 50!!!
